Durant aquest recorregut, que té una part festiva i de celebració, l’equip es retrobarà amb les poblacions costaneres i amb molta de la gent amb les que durant aquest vint anys ha compartit la seva singladura televisiva.
Seguint el ritual de cortesia entre la gent de la mar l’equip Thalassa rebrà les banderes de les poblacions o de las regions marítimes per on passi i les hissarà al pal del vaixell per seguir navegant amb elles amb un esperit de germanor marinera i de compartir el respecte pel mar.
L’equip aprofitarà la Ruta de l’Aniversari per preparar nous reportatges per la propera temporada en la que vol fer una sèrie de retrats de pobles costaners que mostrin l’anima marinera que els ha fet créixer i de la qual encara i malgrat el canvis es nodreixen.

El Santa Eulàlia , el vaixell del Museu Marítim de Barcelona
Aquest viatge es fa amb la col•laboració del Museu Marítim de Barcelona a bord del pailebot Santa Eulàlia.

El Santa Eulàlia és un dels últims supervivents d’una època en que els gran velers eren la millor opció del transport per mar. Aquest magnífic veler té 34 metres d’eslora, tres pals i porta una tripulació de 8 persones.

La seva història va començar l’any 1918 quan l’armador Pasqual Flores el va construir a les drassanes de Torrevieja i li va donar el nom de la seva filla Carmen Flores. Gracies a la restauració feta pel Museu Marítim de Barcelona va tornar al seu aspecte original, el d’una embarcació de treball sense luxes, que ara 90 anys mes tard segueix solcant la Mediterrània, en aquest cas amb l’equip del Thalassa a bord.
